- “Stuck To You” is about big stickers, a name, spray cans and style. These are the four elements that give life to this project in the beginning of 2008 in Palermo, Italy. Evolving from a name painted directly on the side of a train, and a sticker posted on it, can be possible if we analyze history and look back to what happened both to the Aerosol Art and the Street Art movements in the last years: we had many writers giving up, a lot of repression in the streets and stricnine laws tryin’ to kill the movement. This happened basically in all the countries where there had been generations of writers dedicated to paint. We also had loads of new upcoming kids totally dedicated to bomb the system, while an array of hardcore legends play his role to keep the scene alive. On the other side, we had a lot of artists going back to the streets, experimenting with paper, glue, stickers and paint above all. Stuck To You just recollects the simple idea of a “Hi, my name is…” sticker, multiplies it hundreds times and mixes it with the latest styles, giving it it back to where “graffiti” used to be.
